Our very popular puppy class is held on a Monday night from 6:30 until 7:30 at the United Reformed Church, High Street, Whetstone, Leicester(next door to the Wheatsheaf Pub).

Puppies have a thirst for learning and their enthusiasm is encouraged with a reward based training system. There are always two trainers in attendance at all of our classes. Neither puppies nor older dogs are ever punished and there is no harsh handling. Our classes are friendly, informal and we are careful not to put any pressure on the puppies. Our aim is to build confidence to produce a happy, stress free and obedient dog.

During the 6 week course we aim to cover all the basics including sit, down, stand, stay, recall and leadwork. Additionally we teach you how to get your puppy to focus on you. The course also covers common problems such as jumping up and play biting.

We believe that its very important for puppies to meet people and children and to learn to play nicely with other dogs. For this reason we include a short period of supervised off lead socialisation in each of our puppy classes. All the family is welcome to attend and we are happy to welcome children into the class.

Puppy class is available to dogs aged under 6 months of age. Our 6 week course costs £40 and puppies can attend as soon as they are able to go out after vaccination. If you are unable to attend six consecutive weeks it doesn't matter. You wont lose your money - it just rolls on until you've completed your six weeks. We do however, expect to see you more often than not. Puppy class is held in Whetstone, Leicester.
